Library outreach vehicles participate in a small number of community events in Lycoming County each year as part of our mission to connect people in hard-to-access locations with information and library services. If your organization is hosting a community event and you would like to invite an outreach vehicle attend, please fill out and submit the form below at least 30 days before the event.

It may take up to one week for staff to respond to your inquiry to let you know whether a vehicle will attend your event. Library System staff consider many factors when evaluating whether to attend a community event including:

• Driver and patron safety – Outreach vehicles do not participate in parades
• Ability to provide library service on board
• Distance to a brick-and-mortar library
• Event date and time
• Impact to regularly-scheduled outreach vehicle service
• Staff availability
